        Ah, hello stranger. I hear you are from one of those few cities the Pulse did not hit. You have not even heard of us Chosen, have you? Well, I am Vidyut, and I'll tell you my part in this story.

 

        As you know, our Bloc, Bharata, did not participate in the Second War. We had always had cordial relations with both the Allegiance and Arya Blocs, and so we decided to stay out of their power struggles. However, the War stopped quite prematurely, as the EM discharge explosive the Arya was working on blew up prematurely, killing... no one. Yeah, the bomb turned out to be a dud. All it did was send that blinding Pulse of light around the globe. Or, was it?

 

        After all, we  Chosen owe our power to that very Pulse...
